Brighter Future Initiative
Brighter Future Initiative is focused on empowering women and girls in Nigeria with digital and vocational skills to reduce poverty and unemployment. In Kano state, the organisation has trained over 200 girls from four secondary schools in digital and computer skills. Additionally, they have empowered 300 women from various communities with profit-oriented skills and vocational training, equipping them with the tools needed to improve their livelihoods and create sustainable businesses. Through these initiatives, Brighter Future is helping to build a brighter, more equitable future for women in the Northwest region of Nigeria.
Crowdr
Crowdr is a platform dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through crowdfunding and volunteering. By amplifying the voices of campaigners, especially women, Crowdr helps raise funds and support for various social causes. The platform recently assisted two women campaigners by promoting their campaigns on social media and creating compelling video stories to attract attention and funds. Through these efforts, Crowdr enables individuals to engage in social good, driving change and improving lives across Nigeria by connecting people to resources and opportunities for positive impact.
Moriah Native Foods
Moriah Native Foods offers world-class grain milling services, providing affordable, hygienic, and organic spices, tea, and herbs. The organisation focuses on empowering women, with 80% of its workforce being female. Moriah Native Foods trains women in best milling practices and procedures, and provides training to young girls on maintenance skills. Through its women-centric approach, the organisation aims to promote gender equality while supporting the economic empowerment and capacity building of women in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Nitaskraft Accessories
Nitaskraft Accessories promotes sustainable fashion through various initiatives aimed at empowering women and girls. Their "Hats for Hope" initiative creates hats for women and girls affected by health challenges like HIV/AIDS and cancer, enhancing dignity and self-esteem. The "Bridal Veils for Education" program funds education scholarships for underprivileged girls through bridal veil sales. Nitaskraft also hosts "Empowerment through Entrepreneurship" workshops on millinery and business management, champions sustainable and eco-friendly fashion practices, and advocates for body positivity and women's rights. Through these efforts, Nitaskraft fosters both social and environmental sustainability.
Oasis of Love International Center for Women and Children
Oasis of Love International Center for Women and Children is committed to improving the psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of underserved women and girls in Lagos. We provide mental health support, SGBV awareness programs, and medical outreach services to foster healing and resilience. Through counseling, therapy, and educational workshops, we help women overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression. Our SGBV advocacy empowers women with knowledge of their rights and equips them to combat gender-based violence. Additionally, our health initiatives ensure access to essential medical care, promoting holistic well-being for women and children in vulnerable communities.
Project MEND
Project MEND is committed to empowering women in low-income communities by equipping them with skills and resources for sustainable livelihoods. Based in Ogun State, Nigeria, we provide skill development training in areas such as tailoring, fashion design, and entrepreneurship, enabling women to achieve financial independence. Our impact is seen through women like Mrs. Sherifat Onafuye, who, since receiving her sewing machine in 2023, has produced over 100 bags, gaining financial stability and covering her children’s school fees. Similarly, Mrs. Dele Olawunmi, a trainee from our second pilot, reinvested her earnings into an advanced fashion course and is now expanding her business. Through vocational training, mentorship, and business support, Project MEND fosters economic empowerment, helping women build a secure and self-sufficient future for themselves and their families.
WE AID INITAITIVE- JUSTICE CENTRE FOR GENDER BASED VIOLENCE
We Aid Initiative empowers women and girls across Nigeria by advancing gender equality, environmental sustainability, and access to justice. Through our Home Grown Project, we equip women with sustainable farming skills using recycled materials, promoting food security and economic independence. We advocate for legislative change, notably supporting the domestication of the VAPP Act in Bauchi State, ensuring legal protections against gender-based violence. Our Justice Center for Gender-Based Violence provides survivors with legal aid and counseling, fostering safety and rehabilitation.

Webfala Digital Skills for all Initiative
Webfala Digital Skills for All Initiative empowers women and girls across Nigeria through STEM education, digital literacy, and mentorship. Our Keeping Female in STEM Training equips young women with essential digital skills, fostering career pathways in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while advocating for greater female representation. Through Safe Her, we provide women and girls with the knowledge to navigate the digital world safely, offering mentorship and internship opportunities with industry professionals.
Women and Girls Elevation
Women and Girls Elevation, based in Pankshin South, is committed to eradicating poverty among women and girls through economic empowerment. The organization has supported several women and girls in starting small businesses, including food frying and selling, as well as selling clothes in the local community. These initiatives help improve the livelihoods of women and girls, providing them with a sustainable source of income and fostering financial independence.

Women's Initiative for Stability, Health and Empowerment (WISE-H)
Women’s Initiative for Stability, Health, and Empowerment (WISE-H) is dedicated to promoting the stability, equity, and health of women and girls through research, education, advocacy, and community-driven initiatives. One of its key focus areas is improving reproductive health and rights, particularly through addressing menstrual poverty. WISE-H works to increase access to affordable and safe menstrual products, thereby enhancing menstrual health and hygiene management for women and girls in underserved communities. Through collaborations, the organization has trained over 1,500 women and girls on producing, packaging, and branding reusable menstrual pads, increasing access to safe and affordable products by 20%. WISE-H also participates in advocacy efforts to reduce taxes on menstrual product production, aiming to lower costs and ensure accessibility for all.
Yattiyr Scholarship Initiative
Yattiyr Scholarship Initiative identifies and supports indigent teenagers, particularly girls, whose education is threatened by poverty in Nigeria. Through scholarship programmes, girls in rural and suburban communities gain access to formal education, with continuous support until they complete secondary school. Over 30 students have graduated across three states. Capacity development initiatives equip beneficiaries with essential skills, while health promotion efforts ensure well-being. The annual Inspire the Girl Child programme, held in celebration of International Women’s Day, enlightens and motivates young girls to become leaders and changemakers in their communities.
