Based in Tanzania, the company designs, manufactures, and packs eco-friendly reusable pads that are affordable, durable, and easily accessible. These products are particularly beneficial to rural and low-income women and adolescents, ensuring they have access to safe and reliable menstrual hygiene products, while also supporting women’s empowerment in the workplace.

Foundation for anti-sexual abuse in Tanzania

The Foundation for Anti Sexual Abuse in Tanzania (FASAT) is dedicated to combating gender-based violence through activism, legal aid, and awareness campaigns. We strengthen healthcare and law enforcement systems by training professionals to identify, manage, and report cases of sexual violence. Through community engagement via media outreach, workshops, and seminars, we foster collective action against violence. Our empowerment programs equip women and girls with leadership and advocacy skills, ensuring long-term change. By addressing legal, health, and social dimensions of violence, FASAT strives to create a safer, more just society for women and girls in Tanzania.

Her Dreams Initiative

Her Dreams Initiative is dedicated to promoting the rights of girls, women, and youth in Morogoro, Tanzania, particularly in the areas of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), climate justice, and economic empowerment. Their HerVoice program has directly impacted over 157 adolescent girls and women by providing education on SRHR, empowering them to make informed decisions about their reproductive health and reduce unwanted pregnancies. The initiative supports young girls in staying in school and women in planning their reproductive futures. Through partnerships with community organizations and healthcare providers, Her Dreams advocates for better access to SRHR services and promotes climate justice for women and girls.

Power Plus Foundation

Power Plus Foundation (PPF) is committed to empowering young girls and women in Shinyanga, Tanzania, by fostering economic independence, gender-based violence prevention, sexual and reproductive health education, and improved sanitation. Founded in 2022, PPF addresses the financial vulnerability that traps many women in abusive situations. Through marketable skills training using locally available materials and small business support, we have reached 2,000 women, with 90% achieving financial stability, indirectly benefiting 3,540 children. Our SRHR programs educate girls on menstrual health, reproductive rights, and safe practices, while WASH initiatives improve access to clean water and sanitation in rural areas. By integrating economic empowerment with social advocacy, PPF is creating a future where women achieve financial resilience, make independent choices, and break cycles of poverty and violence.

Smart Foundation

Smart Foundation is dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities in Tanzania through education, health, gender equality, and climate change initiatives. The foundation works to enhance access to quality education, ensuring equal opportunities regardless of gender, geography, or economic status, while providing sufficient resources, particularly for people with disabilities. In community empowerment, Smart Foundation prioritises local participation in decision-making and equitable resource distribution. The foundation addresses gender equity in education, employment, and decision-making, while combating gender-based violence and discrimination. It also advocates for robust social protection systems to safeguard vulnerable groups, particularly women and girls.

Urafiki Girls

Urafiki Girls empowers young women and girls in rural and semi-urban communities around Mwanza, Tanzania, through education, leadership, and technology. By equipping them with 21st-century skills, we help them break barriers and drive social change. Our training programs in technology and innovation have enabled over 300 girls to develop mobile applications, AI programs, and digital solutions tackling challenges in health, education, and sustainability. Through the Msichana Simama program, adolescent mothers gain entrepreneurship skills, allowing them to start local businesses and achieve economic independence. Urafiki Girls is creating a future where young women lead with confidence and impact.

Women and Youth Movement

Women and Youth Movement (Woyomo), based in Dar Es Salaam, Simiyu, and Dodoma regions of Tanzania, is dedicated to promoting the rights and empowerment of girls and young women. Through various impactful programs, Woyomo strives to create positive change in their lives. One of the key initiatives is the "Girls Buzz" program, an annual storytelling event that empowers girls and young women by giving them a platform to share their experiences and solutions. The "NIWEZESHE Project" focuses on providing vocational training to teenage mothers and out-of-school girls, promoting economic independence and reducing poverty. Additionally, the "Health Spark Project" addresses sexual and reproductive health education, gender equality, and self-awareness, aiming to reduce early pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases among youth.

Youth in Technology and Engineering (YITEISM)

Youth in Technology and Engineering (YITEISM) is dedicated to empowering youth, women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) through technology and engineering education in Tanzania. By fostering innovation and equipping individuals with practical skills, YITEISM contributes to economic growth and solutions to unemployment. The "Empower Her" program has trained over 500 young women in coding, robotics, and digital literacy, enhancing their participation in the digital economy. Annual conferences provide a platform for women leaders in technology to share insights and inspire the next generation. Community-based initiatives like the Tech for Good campaign leverage technology to address local challenges, including access to education and healthcare.
