Human Rights Documentation and Training Center
The CDFDH (Centre for the Defence of Human Rights and Freedoms) is dedicated to advancing human rights in Togo, with a strong focus on empowering youth, especially women and girls. Since 2018, the centre has trained over 100 young people and women, half of whom are actively involved in human rights defense. Notably, 20 individuals have gained international recognition for their commitment and professionalism. In 2021 and 2022, the CDFDH launched a project combating online harassment of women human rights defenders, strengthening the skills of 30 women in human rights and online safety, furthering the empowerment of women in this field.
