Action Pour le Développement des Jeunes au Congo (ADJC) is dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities affected by conflict in Eastern DRC, with a focus on girls' menstrual health and education. Operating in South and North Kivu, ADJC provides essential services, including access to healthcare, education, income-generating activities, and capacity development. A flagship initiative, SAFIPAD, tackles period poverty by producing and distributing washable, reusable sanitary pads to adolescent girls. By ensuring that girls can manage their menstrual health with dignity, SAFIPAD helps reduce school absenteeism and dropout rates, empowering young women to continue their education. Through a holistic approach that combines health, education, and economic empowerment, ADJC is transforming lives and creating lasting change for women and girls in conflict-affected regions of the DRC.
Association of Working Children and Youth-DRC
Association of Working Children and Youth - DRC is focused on empowering women, girls, and young people in the DRC through leadership training and community development. By promoting youth and women’s leadership, the organisation fosters sustainable development and encourages active participation in positive change. Through vocational training, entrepreneurship education, and motivational activities, it helps individuals build confidence and understand their vital role in shaping their communities. The association creates spaces for women and young people to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to become agents of transformation and drive lasting development in their communities.

Dada Soma Absl
Dada Soma Asbl empowers young Congolese women and girls with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to excel in STEM, particularly in software development and AI. Through technical training, mentorship, and leadership development, the organisation fosters a more diverse and inclusive tech landscape. Dada Soma Asbl collaborates with industry partners to enhance job placement, supports women-led tech startups, and raises awareness of gender barriers in technology. Beyond STEM, the organisation engages in community-driven initiatives, including environmental sustainability efforts. By equipping women with both technical and soft skills, Dada Soma Asbl is shaping the future of tech in the DRC and beyond.

Developpement et Innovations en Milieu Rural (DIMR/Asbl)
Développement et Innovations en Milieu Rural (DIMR) empowers vulnerable rural women, children, and youth in South Kivu, DRC, through education, health services, food security, economic empowerment, and environmental conservation. DIMR provides psycho-social support, legal aid, and protection services while advocating for women’s and children’s rights. Key initiatives include preventing sexual exploitation through training and counseling, promoting organic farming for food security, and building wells for clean water access. By fostering skills development and sustainable livelihoods, DIMR helps communities become self-reliant, ensuring long-term social and economic progress for those most in need.
DRC Aid
DRC Aid is dedicated to empowering women and girls through inclusion, socio-economic reintegration, and leadership development. Committed to gender equality, the organisation promotes women's political participation, entrepreneurship, and access to education and training. Recognising women as essential drivers of development, DRC Aid works to ensure their active role in peacebuilding, economic growth, and social progress. By fostering autonomy and equal opportunities, the organisation challenges systemic barriers and advocates for women's full participation in decision-making and public affairs, striving for a more just and inclusive society in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Environnementalu
ENVIRONNEMENTALU is dedicated to combating climate change by reforesting areas degraded by human activity and natural disasters. Their vision is to restore environments impacted by deforestation, promoting sustainable land management and environmental health. The organisation prioritises women's education on land management and tree restoration, empowering them to play a pivotal role in preserving nature. Through these efforts, ENVIRONNEMENTALU contributes to a greener, more sustainable future for North Kivu and beyond.
FOYERDENFANT+FEMME
Foyer d'Enfant et Femme is dedicated to empowering women, young women, and girls in South Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo, by strengthening their capacity for control, prevention, and adaptation. Through educational initiatives, the organisation aims to eradicate gender inequality, poverty, and ignorance, while promoting environmental protection. By sensitising communities on gender equality and women's rights, Foyer d'Enfant et Femme has reduced domestic and sexual violence, particularly in Sange and Mutarule villages, fostering positive change and supporting women's economic independence.

Women Concern
Women Concern, based in the Eastern Provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo, is dedicated to leading rural women and girls to discover and enhance their potential for inclusive development through action research. The organization is driven by a personal passion rooted in the founder's own childhood experiences, where limited resources for menstrual management contributed to widespread school dropout among girls. This often led to early marriages, restricting their rights and personal growth. Women Concern works to address these barriers by empowering young people, particularly girls, through education and targeted empowerment programs, supporting them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Youth For Peace Grands Lacs
Youth for Peace Grants Lacs is a multi-sectoral, interdenominational organisation dedicated to promoting reconciliation and peace for sustainable development in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Efforts focus on fostering social cohesion by bridging divides among communities affected by conflict, ethnic and religious differences, and prejudice. Through extensive awareness campaigns, over 4,000 people have been sensitised on justice and reconciliation, increasing understanding of transitional justice and reparation mechanisms. Capacity-building initiatives equip local populations, particularly women and young people, with skills for crisis management and peacebuilding. Women and girls, in particular, have gained a stronger awareness of their rights, enabling them to participate actively in discussions on justice and security. By strengthening community resilience, the organisation helps victim communities overcome past traumas, prevent future conflicts, and contribute to long-term peace and stability.
