The organisation provides health education to young girls, empowering them to make informed choices. Additionally, they offer screenings in underserved areas and sexual reproductive health education for adolescents in primary schools, striving to improve maternal and newborn health and advance women’s health rights in South Africa.

Davidzo Foundation is committed to empowering adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) from historically disadvantaged backgrounds in South Africa. The foundation works to improve access to sexual and reproductive health services, education, and employment opportunities. Garden of Healing Counselling Services
Garden of Healing Counselling Services is dedicated to empowering marginalized communities in South Africa through accessible and culturally sensitive mental health support. Our initiatives include the International Women’s Mental Health Support Group, in partnership with SADAG, offering a safe space for healing and empowerment. We provide free counselling services for teenage girls, addressing self-esteem, body image, and emotional well-being. Through mental health awareness programs, including school talks and community outreach, we educate women and girls on self-care and stress management. By fostering resilience and empowerment, we create a supportive environment where women and girls can thrive.

Johnson and Sebha NPC is dedicated to combating gender-based violence (GBV) against women and children. The organization focuses on holding perpetrators accountable through legal action and provides rehabilitation services to victims, including employment support to help them find closure and rebuild their lives. In addition to victim support, Johnson and Sebha NPC monitors the well-being of children, ensuring they remain in school and providing necessary resources like clothing and other support to help them thrive. Public Health en Afrique (PHA) is committed to building a sustainable health system that ensures equitable access to quality, safe, and affordable healthcare across Africa. Operating in South Africa, Nigeria, Eswatini, and Zimbabwe, PHA focuses on mental health, ethics, environmental health, and maternal & child health. One of our key initiatives is a menstrual hygiene program in secondary schools, which not only provides sustainable and cost-effective menstrual products but also addresses gender inequality, environmental sustainability, mental health, and social inclusion. Guided by a socio-ecological model of health, PHA recognizes the reciprocal relationship between health and the environments where people live, work, and play. By fostering community partnerships, awareness campaigns, and advocacy, we empower individuals and communities to improve health outcomes and reduce social inequities, moving Africa toward a future of holistic well-being for all.

Sanyuka Group is dedicated to empowering women and girls in Africa through targeted training and business development initiatives. The organisation focuses on equipping female entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to thrive in business, while also prioritising the hiring and fostering of women within its own operations to model gender equity in the workplace. Sanyuka Group partners with local communities to offer workshops and seminars addressing the unique challenges and opportunities women face. Simpatico Communities
Simpatico Communities is dedicated to enhancing psychosocial and mental well-being by supporting young women and girls who have dropped out of school due to poverty, gender-based violence (GBV), orphanhood, or other hardships. Through one-on-one and group counseling sessions, the organisation provides a safe space for healing and reintegration into education. An educational psychologist assesses each participant to identify learning challenges and determine the best level for re-entry. Simpatico Communities also facilitates scholarships, donor support, and skills training, empowering young women with education and economic opportunities to break cycles of vulnerability and build self-reliance.

Sphesihle Foundation equips young girls from underprivileged backgrounds with the tools, mindsets, and skills needed to overcome barriers and shape their futures. Through programs like EducateHer, EmpowerHer, and Emerging Leaders, the foundation provides mentorship, life skills training, and entrepreneurial development to address challenges that contribute to school dropouts. STEM Girls Education
STEM Girls Education is dedicated to helping African girls become drivers of innovation by encouraging them to pursue studies and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The organisation is developing STEMgirls Tutor, an AI-powered learning assistant aimed at inspiring, coaching, and mentoring girls aged 12-16 (Grades 6-10). The platform fosters curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking, providing resources and support to help girls complete tasks, develop problem-solving skills, and ignite their passion for STEM fields. This initiative aims to empower girls to excel in areas that are crucial for shaping the future.
Women for Change
Women for Change (WFC) is a women’s rights-based, non-governmental organisation dedicated to advocating for the constitutional rights of women and children in South Africa. The organisation is deeply committed to eradicating gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF), raising awareness, supporting victims and survivors, and pushing for justice through innovative technology. Their vision is to create a world where women and children live free from violence, enjoying dignity, equality, and freedom. WFC’s work focuses on four main pillars: raising awareness about GBVF, educating communities, providing victim and legal support, and advocating for the rights of survivors.
