Public Health en Afrique (PHA) is committed to building a sustainable health system that ensures equitable access to quality, safe, and affordable healthcare across Africa. Operating in South Africa, Nigeria, Eswatini, and Zimbabwe, PHA focuses on mental health, ethics, environmental health, and maternal & child health. One of our key initiatives is a menstrual hygiene program in secondary schools, which not only provides sustainable and cost-effective menstrual products but also addresses gender inequality, environmental sustainability, mental health, and social inclusion. An educational psychologist assesses each participant to identify learning challenges and determine the best level for re-entry. STEM Girls Education

STEM Girls Education is dedicated to helping African girls become drivers of innovation by encouraging them to pursue studies and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The organisation is developing STEMgirls Tutor, an AI-powered learning assistant aimed at inspiring, coaching, and mentoring girls aged 12-16 (Grades 6-10). The platform fosters curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking, providing resources and support to help girls complete tasks, develop problem-solving skills, and ignite their passion for STEM fields. This initiative aims to empower girls to excel in areas that are crucial for shaping the future.

Women for Change

Women for Change (WFC) is a women’s rights-based, non-governmental organisation dedicated to advocating for the constitutional rights of women and children in South Africa. The organisation is deeply committed to eradicating gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF), raising awareness, supporting victims and survivors, and pushing for justice through innovative technology. Their vision is to create a world where women and children live free from violence, enjoying dignity, equality, and freedom. WFC’s work focuses on four main pillars: raising awareness about GBVF, educating communities, providing victim and legal support, and advocating for the rights of survivors.
